• 2015 Spring Team Most Improved DL

2015 SEASON 
Primed for a breakout season after earning team’s most imporved defensive lineman award in the spring … Has plenty of game experience but is exptected to take the next step in his career as a junior and is slotted at the No. 1 at the nose tackle spot heading into fall camp and should see plenty of playing time in 2015.

2014 SEASON 
Played in all 14 games for the Tigers, tallying 11 tackles (seven solo, four assists) with a sack and a forced fumble … Tallied his first career sack against UCF (Sept. 13), forcing a fumble on that play … Had a career-high three tackles (two solo, one assist) in the SEC Championship game against Alabama (Dec. 6) … Picked up a tackle against Minnesota in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl … Had a pair of tackles at Toledo.

2013 SEASON 
Appeared in eight games, finishing with one tackle for the season … his solo stop came on the road at Ole Miss (Nov. 23).

Redshirt season.

Won first-team all-district and first-team all-area honors as a senior for Atlanta High School, as well as taking home second-team all-state honors according to the Associated Press … the Texas Sports Writers Association rated him as a first-team all-state pick, as well … three-sport standout who was also a three-year letterman in basketball and track, winning a district championship in the shot put and discus … high school coach – Matt McClure.

Parents – Rickey & Latisha Hatley … lists hobbies as fishing and riding horses … plans to major in physical therapy at Mizzou … Mizzou’s campus and the support services for the football student-athletes stood out to him during the recruiting process, as well as the family feel to the program.
