2015 SEASON
Veteran lineman who has provided tremendous leadership and experience along the offensive line and will be looked at as one of the leaders among this year’s group … Enters fall camp at No. 1 at the left tackle spot after starting all 14 games last season.

2014 SEASON
Started all 14 games for the Tigers … Started the season playing his first four games at right tackle before switching to right guard for the final 10 contests … Team went 8-2 with him starting at right guard.

2013 SEASON
One of the key parts in Mizzou’s offensive line bounce back as Mizzou finished the year ranked 16th nationally in total offense (490.7 yards per game) and 13th in scoring (39.1 ppg) … started in all 14 games, after entering the season with no previous career starts … continued his outstanding efforts in the classroom, as he was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second-straight year.

2012 SEASON
Got his first collegiate action as he logged nine games as a redshirt freshman, playing guard mostly, and also seeing time on special teams placekicking protection units … missed most of the spring due to off-season surgery, but was full-go come fall camp … an outstanding student who was named to the SEC 2012 Academic Honor Roll for his efforts in the classroom.

HIGH SCHOOL
Helped his team to consecutive state championships his final two seasons … was the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of North Dakota as a senior … won first-team all-state honors on offense as a senior, and won the same honors on defense during his junior season … racked up 89 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles on defense as a senior, while notching 49 stops and three sacks as a junior … played in an offense that ran a balanced attack, and is considered a strong run blocker coming into the college ranks … caught the eye of Tiger coaches after attending Mizzou summer camps for two summers … also lettered for his school in wrestling and weightlifting for two years apiece … high school coach – Steve Laqua.

Parents – Keith & Rondi McGovern … has family members from both sides of his family who live in the Kansas City and St. Louis areas, and has an uncle who attended the MU School of Law … lists hobbies as weightlifting, snowboarding, riding dirt bikes and wake surfing … plans to major in agricultural economics at Mizzou.
