Bio

  • 11th overall pick in the 1971 NFL Draft.
  • The running back from St. Louis holds Missouri’s single-season rushing mark – 
1,312 yards in 1969, and was MU’s career leading rusher for 10 years.
  • As a senior in 1970, he was one of the nation’s leading rushers with 610 yards through five games when he was felled by a shoulder injury.
  • He had eleven 100-yard performances in his career, still the best by any Mizzou running back.
  • He was a first-round draft choice of the Chicago Bears in 1971.
  • In recent years, he’s coached on the high school level in St. Louis, and coached Berkeley High School’s girls track team to a Missouri state championship in 1993.
